Configure your business hours

Update the hours your business is available to livechat with chatbot users by updating your Business Hours. 

You need an administrator of publisher role on your team to edit business hours.

  1. Click Manage in the left navigation, then click Settings.
  2. Click Business Hours
  3. In the Default business hours tab, update the Description.
    Keep the Name as Default. This means you won't have to type in the name when you configure the business hours script in your passages.
  4. Select the Timezone these business hours use.
  5. Select the availability for each day of the week:
    1. To set a single period of availablility for a day, select the time your business is available.
    2. To make a day unavailable or delete a time slot, click the menu icon on the right, then click Set as unavailable.
    3. To create multiple periods of availability, click the menu icon on the right, then click Add Business Hour Time Slot.
      For example, you may have one time slot in the morning, a break during lunch where your livechat agents are not available, and another slot in the afternoon.
  6. Configure any national public holidays or company holidays your business observes.
  7. Click Save.
