Create a passage or logic

Passages are created automatically when you configure a button, question, or Quick Reply to start a passage that you haven't created yet. You can also create passages and logic from the toolbar in the conversation canvas, duplicate existing passages or logic in the conversation, or copy content from another conversation or chatbot.

To create a new passage or logic:

1. Click Create in the left navigation, then click Conversations.
2. Click the conversation you want to add the passage or logic to.
3. In canvas toolbar, click either the passage icon or logic icon.
4. Click the new passage or logic to edit the content.

You can preview and test your new content in TestBot immediately. New content is created as a draft and must be published before it appears in your live chatbot.
