Create tags manually

If your chatbot has a Sunshine Conversations v2 or Zendesk Chat integration, you can add tags to your chatbot manually instead of syncing them from the integrated platform. Manually created tags:

  • Are applied to user conversations just the same as synced tags. 
  • Always display 'Zendesk' as their integration in Tag settings.
  • Do not have a group or subgroup in Tag settings.
    If your chatbot does not have a Khoros integration with chat tagging enabled, the Group and Subgroup columns are not displayed in Tag settings.
  • Cannot be renamed, deleted, or expired.

You need an administrator role on your team to create tags.

Create tags manually

Before you manually add tags, make sure you have:

In your inGenious AI chatbot:

  1. Click Manage in the left navigation, then click Settings.
  2. Click Tags.
  3. Click + Tag.
    If your chatbot also has tagging enabled for a Khoros integration, click the dropdown arrow next to the Sync button, then click + Tag.
  4. Type your tag name.
    Make sure you follow the formatting rules under the text field.
  5. Click Create.
