Chatbot content data source

A chatbot content data source contains the text of the current chatbot's passages, NLP training phrases, and conversation and passage annotations.

Chatbot content data sources are text only

Only the text of your passages, training phrases, and annotations is included in the data source. Non-textual content like images and media aren't included and won't be used in LLM matching.

When you publish the chatbot content data source as part of a chatbot version, the data source is automatically updated with the published content. If you publish a new version of your chatbot without publishing the data source, the data source is not updated. Unpublished chatbot content changes are never included in the data source.

If you want to test the effect that your unpublished chatbot content changes will have on the data source, you can sync your changes. Syncing changes incorporates all unpublished changes into a test version of the data source and makes it available in TestBot. Unpublished changes are never included in your live chatbot's data source.

Syncing is time-consuming, so you should use it when you're ready to test the impact of your content changes on the data source, rather than every time you change the chatbot content.

You can also download a CSV of the last synced version of the data source, including unpublished changes.
