Translate training phrases

You can translate all the training phrases of an NLP question to another language. The translated training phrases replace the existing training phrases in the question. Any entities used in the original training phrases are not included in the translated phrases.

If you want the chatbot to respond to the question in the same language, you can also translate the bot message.

Training phrase translations are created using a generative AI model connected to your chatbot. You will need:

• A translate text task configured with a compatible connector.
• The languages you want to translate into listed in your NLP settings.

To translate training phrases:

1. Click Create in the left navigation, then click Conversations.
2. Click the conversation containing the passage or logic you want to edit.
3. Click the passage or logic you want to translate training phrases in.
4. Click either Inbound Questions or Outbound Questions.
5. Click the menu next to the question you want to translate.
6. Click Translate All Phrases.
7. Select the language you want to translate to.
   Only languages listed in your NLP settings are available.
8. Click Translate.
9. Expand the question to show the training phrases.
10. Review the translated phrases and make any adjustments you need.
11. Make sure the correct language is selected for the question.
    Select the language from the dropdown above the question's training phrases.
12. Click Save.
