Channel limitations

Not all chatbot channels support sending the same chatbot content. Different channels may have restrictions in the number of buttons or Quick Replies they display per message, or whether they will display carousels that don't have images.

You may see a warning message if:

  • You create channel-specific content that the channel cannot support.
  • You create content that some channels do not support in the default channel. If you know that all the channels that your chatbot uses do support this content, you can safely ignore the warning.

The following table lists limits for common chatbot channels. If your chatbot's channel isn't listed, check the channel's help documentation for more information.
