Make sure you have created your OAuth client.
If you have already enabled the Web Services Data Actions integrations in Genesys Open Messaging, you can skip to Import and configure the message flow.
Enable Web Services in Genesys
Enable the Web Services Data Actions integration so that Genesys Open Messaging can send extra data to inGenious AI as part of the messaging flow.
To enable Web Services integrations:
- Log in to your Genesys MyPureCloud administrator account.
- Choose the Collaborate view.
- Click Admin in the top navigation bar.
- Under the Integrations group, click Integrations.
Tip: Use the search bar if you can't find Integrations. - Click ⊕ Integrations.
- Add the Web Services Data Actions integration.
- Make sure the Web Services Data Actions integration is Active.

Download the Data Action file
In your inGenious AI chatbot:
- In the Genesys Open Messaging integration, find the Configuration Files section.
- Click Data Action File.

Add the Data Action in Genesys
In your Genesys MyPureCloud administrator account:
- Navigate to the Integrations page.
- Click Actions.
- Click Import.
- Upload the register-ingenious-ai.json file.
- Click Save & Publish.
