Create a test file

The test file controls what phrases are tested in a regression test. You create a comma-separated value (CSV) file containing the phrases you want to test, and the conversation and passage ID they should trigger in your chatbot. 

Each regression test has one test file. You can include up to 1000 phrases in one test file. If you need to test more than 1000 phrases, split the phrases into separate regression tests.

To find all your conversation and passage IDs in one place, download the Passages & Questions file from your chatbot's general settings.

To create a regression test file:

1. Select the team and chatbot you need.
2. Open the Improve section of the left navigation and click Regression Tests.
3. Click CSV Template.
   The template is downloaded to your computer.
4. Open the downloaded file and complete the template.

Make sure you use the template format, and that your conversation and passage IDs are correct.
